1. Booking and Payment:

1.1. To secure your reservation for a hiking trip with barista training organized by Caffenation BV, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. This is €1100, or 50% of the total amount to be paid. The organization will pass on the bank account information to you via mail. 

1.2. The remaining 50% of the trip cost must be made, the latest 10 (ten) days before the departure date, as specified in the booking confirmation.

1.3. Accepted forms of payment include bank transfers, pay pal payments, or other methods agreed upon by Caffenation BV.

2. Cancellations and Refunds:

2.1. In the event of cancellation by the participant, the following refund policy applies:

• Cancellations made 30 (thirty) days or more prior to the trip start date: a 100% refund of the already paid sum.

• Cancellations made in between 10 (ten) and 30 (thirty) days prior to the trip start date: a 50% refund of the already paid sum.

• Cancellations made within 10 (ten) days of the trip start date: No refund will be provided.

2.2. Caffenation BV reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a trip due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure events. In such cases, a full refund of the paid amounts will be provided, excluding any non-refundable costs incurred by the participant.

3. Travel Insurance:

3.1. It is mandatory for all participants to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip cancellation, and other relevant risks. 

3.2. Caffenation BV is not liable for any expenses, losses, or damages incurred due to the participant's failure to obtain adequate travel insurance coverage.

4. Participant Responsibilities:

4.1. Participants are responsible for ensuring their physical fitness and suitability for the chosen hiking trip. Caffenation BV may provide guidance on fitness requirements, but it is ultimately the participant's responsibility to assess their abilities.

4.2. Participants must comply with all local laws, regulations, and guidelines of the hiking destination during the trip. Any costs or legal consequences arising from non-compliance are the sole responsibility of the participant.

5. Health and Safety:

5.1. Participants should inform Caffenation BV of any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements that may affect their participation in the hiking trip.

5.2. Participants are responsible for their own health and safety during the trip and must follow the instructions of the trip leader or guide.

5.3. Caffenation BV reserves the right to remove a participant from the trip if their behavior poses a risk to their safety or the safety of others, without any refund or liability.

6. Limitation of Liability:

6.1. Caffenation BV and its affiliates, partners, or employees shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, damages, delays, or inconveniences incurred during the hiking trip, except in cases of proven negligence or willful misconduct.

6.2. Participants are responsible for their personal belongings and equipment during the trip. Caffenation BV is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

7.1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Belgium. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Antwerp, Belgium.
